PEAKY BLINDERS - 95%

What can I say folks, we are on a roll! (knocks on wood). Two for two and hopefully we keep this gravy train going.

With so much more time on our hands due to the unfortunate events from the Corona Virus. We all have found ourselves at one point or another, scrolling through the endless halls of Netflix options. With such vast amounts of content streaming non stop, the quality of Netflix's programming is subpar at best. Too often do we take longer to find a decent show or film to watch than the actual film itself, let alone it be a great work of art...

But once in a blue moon, there comes a time when the powers that be at Netflix, assemble the filmmakers ingredients just right and we are gifted with a great series such as, THE PEAKY BLINDERS.

The British period crime drama, PEAKY BLINDERS. Is loosely based on a real 19th century urban youth gang of the same name. The series follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family.

A mixture of despair and hedonism in aftermath of the Great War. This gangster family epic is set in Birmingham, England, in 1919, several months after the end of the First World War.

Run by returning war hero, Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his family. One of the most powerful gangs of the time is the Peaky Blinders. However, Thomas Shelby has bigger ambitions than just running the streets. He recognizes an opportunity to advance in the world because crime may pay but legitimate business pays even better.

This show is by far one of Netflix's finest.

I could go on and on about all the qualities I think make it such a great show but I think you all should find out for yourself. On the flip side, well there really isn't much to complain about other than I wish they had more seasons.

So I'll keep it short and sweet. The show is DOPE! Do yourself a favor and watch, you'll thank me later...

Overall we gave PEAKY BLINDERS an 95%, certified DFF!

DOPE! FRESH and FUN!

Enjoy and see ya'll next week!
